March 21, 2010 Church and Bosom Buddies

We got up bright and not too early and headed to southern Colorado Springs to attend church in our old ward. We hadn't told many people we were coming, so it was fun to go to Sacrament Meeting. There were a few whispers when we came in....and lots of people were gone as it was Spring Break. The boys were passing Sacrament, and there were a few double takes, then a few grins! It was really nice to be back with them again! So many people were still there! I imagine Heaven is like that. What a nice thing to look forward too!

Paige with her friend Gyani. They are only about 2 days apart. Her mother and I and another friend Cindi went to the movies together on a regular basis, but neither of us knew the other was pregnant. Cindi did though!! TOO FUNNY! Finally about a week before they were born, we found out, and Relva threatened bodily harm if I had Paige before she had Gyani. I was just a tad scared!! :) When I had Paige, I called Cindi to make sure I wasn't first, and I WASN'T! Crisis averted!! We have laughed as they have been pound for pound, inch for inch (though Paige is a bit taller now) and Gyani is full blooded Samoan! How did that happen that Paige is as tall as she is? They were like little magnets after Sacrament was over, and the bosom buddies went off to class! Below is a picture of the mountains from the church building. Miss those beautiful mountains far off in the distance! After church we went to Cindi's house and had a fantastic dinner with her family, and Gyani. We didn't get a picture with her cute family, and super cute twin boys....they are just fun!! We then took Gyani to the hotel for a sleep over! Oh what fun!! Sleeping over with a great friend! Hee Hee...but Rory had to sleep with mom! But I did stop at Panda Express for Orange Chicken for breakfast. Breakfast of Champions I say!! And we were on vacation....so what??? Oh yeah, and I was the mom!! LOVE IT! Rory was taking the whole bed.....Paige sleeping tight!! Gyani sleeping tight!! It was sad to separate the two little plums and I hope they have a chance to get together again! They are so cute together!!
