Piper is engaged and has picked a date!! May 15! Yahoo! Side note--it's also Chad's birthday! Lucky little fella!!
Anyhoo....we were all talking--okay, Piper, Colleen and I, and Colleen said, "but you promised when you got married, you would play the dun dun dun dunnting circus theme and get out of your little clown car.....WAHOO...an idea is hatched!!

It's a Circus Wedding...oh yes, it is!! And yes, our mom was in LOVE with the idea, and so was Chad's mom! (Piper and Bud have kinda been part of that family, as Chad and I started dating when they were 5 and 1....therefore spent lots of time on our dates with us!)
How flipping cool!! We have some great ideas, and are super excited to get it planned and ready to go!! We are practicing with fondant and going to see if we can swing the cake ourselves as well.
I do have to say Sorry Mom!! I was thinking when I got married in 1992, Chad and I were ADAMANT that we have a black and white wedding, yes, with black and white bridesmaids and groomsmen. I know that is the thing now, but um in 1992, that was the season of pastel and poofy!! And I was not a pastel and poofy kinda girl! I also DID NOT want the Precious Moments cake topper and tiered and staired cake and had a nice flower cake topper instead. I know Mom was NOT in love with our theme and ideas...but being the trooper she was, she made those dresses!! And I have to say, my wedding would still be vogue now!! So there!

Then Brenna got married...oh boy....I'm not sure what to say about that one!! LOL For those of you who were there...you know what I'm talking about!! Good times. Good times. I love ants!! LOL And we love and adore Brenna. That wedding gave us some serious good stories!
Now Mom's youngest and last girl is getting hitched....and she picks a circus theme!! LOL Love you Mom!! I promise it won't be a circus like you are thinking!!
Though, there will be hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, soda and circus music!!
I CAN'T WAIT!!
